Paramore’s Hayley Williams surprise releases 17 new songs

Paramore

Paramore singer Hayley Williams has made 17 new songs available to hear on her website.

Fans who purchase an item from the latest line from her Good Dye Young hair dye company will receive a 16-digit access code that allows them to hear the new collection of songs. These tracks include ‘True Believer’, ‘Mirtazapine’, ‘Hard’, ‘Negative Self Talk’, ‘True Believer’, ‘Discovery Channel’ and ‘Zissou’.

Additionally, there’s another file, titled Misc, which contains mobile phone footage of a Phoenix performance from 2017, as well as an image book of lyrics, a t-shirt design that reads, ‘Hayley Williams is my favourite band’, and a voice note of a toddler saying, “I’m sorry that you’re going through something hard.”

Only last week, Williams unveiled her first solo work since 2021 when she low-key debuted her new track, ‘Mirtazapine’, on a Nashville radio station. The track now appears on her website.

The singer previously teased a return to her solo career at the end of their long run of huge stadium tours with Taylor Swift last year.

At the start of 2025, on her 36th birthday, Williams wrote on social media, “I’m going to try and finally play some shows next year that would’ve happened nearly 5 years ago now. That is, if the world doesn’t fucking stop before then.”

Williams is yet to remark upon the 17 new releases and it remains unclear whether it’s intended to be an album in the traditional sense. She has previously released two solo LPs, 2020’s Petals for Armor and 2021’s Flowers for Vases / Descansos. However, she was unable to tour this work due to the pandemic.

This year, Williams has also collaborated with Moses Sumney on ‘I Like It Like I Like It’ and with Turnstile on ‘Seein’ Stars’, which she joined them to perform live at their album launch show at Under The K Bridge in Brooklyn.
