“It is not sold out yet, but it is on its way to being sold out. Therefore, we are convinced that we will have the largest audience ever for a classical music concert in Portugal”, said Tiago Castelo Branco, executive director of the promoter company MOT – Espetáculos e Entretenimento Lda., to the Lusa news agency.
According to Tiago Castelo Branco, “for the same show, on the same day, it is the largest audience ever”.
With a capacity of 25,000 seats, a symphony orchestra with 80 musicians and a choir with 70 voices, the promoter anticipates “another great concert by Andrea Bocelli, celebrating the artist’s 30-year career”.
“It’s a special show, which will bring great guests to accompany him in this show and it’s a great moment in the career of the artist who is very connected to Portugal, has a very close relationship with Portugal and the Portuguese public”, he said, recalling the last shows he gave in the country and the reception of the public.
The executive director of MOT said that Andre Bocelli “brings to Portugal a different line-up, a slightly different approach”, believing that “he will provide the public with a truly memorable concert”.
